Build improvement

Thanks for the patches, Stephen!

I've committed all of the following and marked them as completed by
you.  I've also added you to the openejb-contributors group in JIRA.

OPENEJB-1398: Use dependency:copy-dependencies to copy dependencies
from the reactor
 OPENEJB-1399: packaging of openejb-itests-interceptor-beans and
openejb-itests-beans is incorrect
OPENEJB-1400: Cannot build without installing to local m2 repository
OPENEJB-1401: Use latest version of maven release plugin to work
around the SVN > 1.5 WC->Tag over http issue

Wonderful stuff!

Just committed OPENEJB-1402: use ${project.version} inplace of the
deprecated ${version} in pom.xml files

Or as I understand from your comments, "maven 3 support."

Is this all we need to support Maven 3 or is there still more to go?

Thanks so much for all the build care, Stephen!  We're lucky to have you!

Hi David,

are you talking about the trunk?
AFAIC, i already did that.

Have a look to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENEJB-1351
I did not merge changes to 3.1.x branch currently, but that is definitely possible IMO.

Really?  All the patches so far have been against 3.1.x.  So far
haven't attempted to merge anything to trunk.

If you can take a look over the patches, that'd be wonderful.  Might
be stuff that still applies to trunk and stuff that doesn't.

Yeah. I did all changes in the trunk.
Ok let me check what has been done in the branch and in the trunk. I gonna
try to merge as much as possible things.

Jl made trunk work on maven 3

I'm interested in the 3.1.x branch right now, which is why my patches are
for there. Once I get the 3.1.x stream to the point where it has
animal-sniffer and can be released in one go with the maven-release-plugin
(using nexus staging to allow for re-spins) then I'll do the same to trunk,
only on top of J-L's changes

Stephen,

there is nothing that can't be changed.
Si if you have something to do even in the trunk related to that topic, feel free to change things.

Re: Build improvement

Baby-steps... baby-steps... I prefer to make small incremental
changes... that way it's easier to back out... I also prefer to work
on one target at a time... and I'd like to get the 3.1.x branch into a
state where it's trivial to roll out a bug-fix release, then it will
be easier to retire that branch
